I finished it last night and I like it. I still like the original Mafia better though, but it's still a good game and decent storyline. Ended up playing with my 360 gamepad and the driving was way better with that vs with a keyboard. I still switched to the mouse for some shootouts though, but not too much. My gripe is that I can't use the Thompson 1928 ammo for the Thompson M1A1, they're the same gun, just different variant, but accepted it as a balancing/gameplay decision by the devs. Gonna replay it on Hard to try to get the achievement and Pinups as well as try to collect all the collectibles for the achievement.

I've researched a ton of tanks and own 7. After the wife i plan to go straight for only 3...a JagPanther, T-44, and Panther.
I'm planning to go almost the same route as far as tanks go after the wipe, a JagdPzIV (or a JagdPanther, haven't decided yet), a T-34-85 (not sure if I'll have enough for T-44) and possibly PzIV.

Crew skills makes a huge difference. I don't know if it's worth the gold, but I've concluded the 50% Regimental Training for 20,000k credits each crew member is a good deal and strongly recommended.
If you get a tank at 100% and then compare it to 25% it's stunning what the 100% crew can do in terms of driving and firing. Playing with 100% crew is a lot of fun.
Yeah, that they do. I have a T-26 crew that is around 80% and they're so much fun to play in the recruit battles.

Actually, one of our forum member is really tying the knot today. Victoria Raverna!! I was invited and was planning to go but the whole appendicitis and surgery earlier in the week derailed that plan Anyway, didn't mean to derail the thread, just thought I'd mention it.

I finished my 1st round of Insanity about 2 weeks ago and about to start it back up. Was gonna start up again last week but I tweaked my shoulder and had to postpone it.
It was hard at first but if you keep it up it'll get easier and will definitely feel better. I lost some weight and a couple of inches off my waist and got the comment from my gf that I look better, I didn't keep track of the results though so can't give you hard facts other than those.

I went without landline for almost 5 years back in the US and I didn't notice any difference. Granted I didn't get a lot of calls to begin with so my transition was very seamless.
If you need a "landline" you can always go with Skype or Vonage.

I don't understand these saves. I was at checkpoint (when the game autosaved) and had 81% of village demolition. Then i got to 100% and saved game. After few seconds they destroyed the helicopter, so my mission failed. I loaded my save then and the village was again 81% instead of 100%.
I think the mission saves/checkpoint trumps your village progress save.

How in shape do you have to be in order to survive Insanity? I've been doing my current Yourself! Fitness workout for about three weeks now, but I kind of want something that will give more dramatic results (I haven't even dropped a pound on this workout). However, I don't want to get demolished in the first week, get discouraged and give up.
I don't think you have to be in shape to start it, I know I wasn't. I just go at my own pace and take extra breaks, after 4 weeks, I still need extra breaks. The first week was tough, but after that it's not so bad.

I'm on week 5 of Insanity, this week is recovery week. I missed 3 days so far, but doesn't look like it affected me much. I don't have pics but my gf said my stomach is flatter.

Man, tell me about it. Being back in the tropics sucks for that reason (that and the humidity). Got dengue fever a few months back because of the mosquitoes and there are nights that I couldn't sleep because I keep getting bit.

I've been using Open Office for a while. It took a little bit of an adjustment but it does what MS Office does at a fraction of the price (Read: FREE). Plus it has a built in "Export to PDF" which comes in handy.

How do you heal up in this game? Do I need to stay over in a town or can I just roam around the countryside and as time passes, I'll heal? I can buy food, but does that help?
Yeah, I'm a noob.
You'll heal as time passes, it'll heal faster if you or your party members have certain skills (first aid, wound management and surgery I think). Food doesn't help with recovery but it'll help with party morale

I saw this on Steam today, anyone tried this yet? It sounds like the old MAD TV game from way back when.
Would appreciate any impressions if anyone have one.

Brittany had another great line last night, but I can't remember what it was (it wasn't the "Mr. Shue, is he your son?" which was fantastic, too).

well thats pretty cheap of you. If everyone thought like you the company would probably go under! Oh wait... never mind they already did If you look at my location, it's not available in my neck of the woods, not legally anyway. Impulse won't even sell it to me since I'm not in the US/Canada region, so hopefully, by the time Impulse has it on sale, I'll be able to buy it from them and support the, now defunct, developer.

Ali Larter is back too? Sweet!! Can they give her some of her Heroes powers (ice, water, super strength, whatever) so she can match up just a tad better with Dark Phoenix, I mean Milla Phoenixovich?
Looks like it from the one of the picture linked above.
