I am not really big into wrestling anymore - from time to time I will watch it cause my youngest nephew loves it, and it is a chance for he and I to hang out together.

But I grew up watching the original Undertaker way back when, so other than him... I don't know much about the "sport" anymore.  I like the Rock, cause he makes me laugh, but he isn't on anymore.

But I'm guessing you saw the match?

Was it good?

I saw the end (was waiting for Joe Schmo 2 to start).  It was the usual WWE screwjob ending, although it was Triple H that got screwed this time around (usually it's the other way).  I don't watch wrestling anymore, it got very boring.  I used to watch every Monday, but ever since the Smackdwon/RAW split I haven't been watching as much.

Since I usually don't visit this forum here, I just saw the post today.

I thought the Iron Man Match was really good.  Not quite up to excellent, though, and here's why.

First, HHH isn't the same wrestler he was before he tore his quad.  He's too big, and too slow, and can't even sell simple moves like a dragon-screw leg whip right.  Plus, he's just so damn slow that even a simple corner Irish Whip looks weak, since he is almost stopped when he hits the corner.

In spite of this, Benoit really did everything he could to make the match go, and even though the overbooked ending wasn't really necessary, I did get some pleasure out of Eugene costing HHH the match.

So, overall, really good match, that could have been improved by 2 things: no screwjob ending (ie Benoit winning clean), and a better HHH in the ring (allowing Benoit to pull off more moves than his 'usual' suplexes, chops, and submissions).
