This is addicting at 1:00am....my thoughts on it may change when I'm more awake.

Nothing made me happier than that coin noise back in the. The original mario brothers was one of the greatest games ever.

I thought it was amazing to feel my body react to some of those sounds. The moment I played the bowser level music my heart was racing. I was a terrified five year old all over again. Had the same weird kind of reaction with the "you're dead" sound.

I just recreated a run through level 1.  Now I know it wasn't perfect, but I'm sure we'd all be stunned at just how accurately we could create it.  Hit the first BGM tile, then run, jump, mushroom, stomp...flagpole!

AWESOME!

Even better since I was humming the level 1 music in class the other day.  I was genuinely surprised at how many kids (12 year olds) knew the song!  Timeless.

It doesn't hurt that Nintendo keeps using these sounds/music in every Mario game since then slywink

I wasn't too terrified, ahem, due to my age at the time I played it - but it was tense, for sure.

I distinctly remember the first time I made it to the flagpole top!  Cool  I, conveniently, don't remember the number of attempts it took.

I sorely want to take my headphones out just so people in my cubical area can hear that music (with of course the jumping noises...)

That took me back.
