I am now an employed bum!! Going in on Friday to sign the contract. I will be teaching at a high school (perhaps a junior/senior high school) four days a week. Apparently it's quite a famous high school (where I come from, there are no such things as "famous" high schools-perhaps I wasn't attending the right kind) although it seems as if Tokyo is littered with famous high schools. As much as I enjoyed my early-retirement status, it feels nice to be back to being a contributing member of society again.

I bet you find more than a few kids who are willing to go toe to toe with you on DS or PSP MP. That could be your form of detention. If you achieve this, you will be a legend at a famous high school.

Japanese School girls FTW!!!!!!!!! My alternate thread title was going to be "The fox is in the hen house!!" I had an opportunity to work at an all girls high school but decided not to interview for it because this school was closer to where I live and a sure thing. However I promise not to touch! Congrats! I started my new job on Monday so I know the feeling! I was off for a month and I was starting to go crazy! Glad to be back at work especially since I think I finally found a career job with good pay and benefits.
