I was just getting the following errors (emailed Ron when it happened but figured I'd see if it was just me or anyone else was getting them):
for the front page:
'Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /home/knight/public_html/index.php on line 131
Too many connections' in the screenshots section and 'Update unavailable' under the latest reviews.
and with the forums:
Connection Problems
Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.
everything seems to be up and running again for now.

No errors, but things seem to be running reeeeeeealy slow tonight.
Just tried to get into the site a few minutes ago and as stated, it was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally slow. |

Jeeze....that was scary. Ok, we should be good to go now. Had a runaway process damage the forum database. Surprisingly, even to myself, I knew what to do and fixed it all by my self! I'm gonna go pat myself on the back and get some sleep now...I've got two reviews to complete for tomorrow.

Not sure what happened, but I just logged in for the first time since early this afternoon and the board showed up as if I had read all messages. When I clicked on a section, it didn't show me anything. Loading out to the front page and coming back in via the forum link seemed to return things to normal. Weird.  |

getting some weirdness this morning, it seems to hang on 'Connecting to Gamingtrend.com' until I click on whatever I clicked on again. might be something with my local connection but it looks like other sites seem fine.

There were some major 'tube' disruptions on the net today. Hell, Facebook and Playstation.com were unreachable for about an hour for me and we've got a direct connection to the backbone where I work!
