So I just reviewed boop. Shuffle, a new variant of one of my favorite abstract games of the last few years, and I was struck by two things:
- For such a tiny box the game has a HUGE footprint on the table and
- I really like the shared deck mechanic that totally changes the more or less standard abstract style gameplay of placing wooden cats on the board.
That got me thinking- is there a way to play with this new deck using the original’s board? Turns out, it’s pretty easy!
