This morning, developer Crystal Dynamics released the extended trailer that was shown exclusively at Gamescom containing new footage of Rise of the Tomb Raider’s upcoming DLC.
Blood Ties is a new story mission that takes players to the husk of Croft Manor as Lara searches for proof that she’s the rightful heir. The single-player mission features over an hour of new content, which explores Lara’s relationship with her late father as players unravel the manor’s secrets.
Lara’s Nightmare, on the other hand, is Blood Ties’ crazy uncle, pitting players against hordes of the undead, which roam the halls of Lara’s ancestral home.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration launches Oct. 11 on PlayStation 4 and will come bundled with both pieces of content. Players who have already purchased a Season Pass will get the new content for free.
