Vigilantes and Intrigue Released for Pathfinder RPG

Paizo has been expanding Pathfinder into fascinating directions recently, including occult horror, oceanic adventures, and now Zorro-esque masked adventuring. The Ultimate Intrigue book offers a chance to ride chandeliers and navigate dangerous plots with a secret identity all your own. Read below to find out more.

After an extensive open playtest with thousands of Pathfinder players, Paizo Inc., publisher of the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, announces today the release of Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Ultimate Intrigue, the latest 256-page hardcover rulebook and invaluable companion to the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Core Rulebook. Introducing an entirely new player class, the vigilante, Ultimate Intrigue delves into the shadows, where charm, grace, innuendo, and insult may be more powerful than a sharp sword or spell.

Intrigue
Endless possibilities for adventure await players in the pages of Ultimate Intrigue, where heroes duel with words instead of steel, plot daring heists, and pit their wills against relentless nemeses. Ultimate Intrigue includes new subsystems, spells, feats, and magic items perfect for skullduggery and high society. The new vigilante class puts players under the mask, with a secret identity mechanic that allows players to take on two distinct personas. There are also new archetypes for alchemists, bards, druids, hunters, inquisitors, investigators, mesmerists, rangers, rogues, slayers, spiritualists, and more.

Ultimate Intrigue is on sale now from Paizo Publishing.
