There are plenty great looking games flying their colors this E3, but something about Valiant Hearts seemed to slow down time and speak to our hearts.
This new title from Ubisoft, which launches by the end of the month, was wonderfully presented at the developers press brief to immediate appeal and anticipation. This puzzler set in during the first Great War carried a melancholy air between the booms, slashes, and leaping grunts of the other titles, but it was a welcome break that we all appreciated.
There wasn’t much shown in the way of actual gameplay, which has been rare so far at this particular E3, but just the music and fantastic narrations of the trailer sparked a excited curiosity for this new title. It might be a little early to call, but I anticipate Valiant Hearts become an early E3 favorite.
I've been a huge fan and critic of games and movies ever since I had a voice to speak about them. I love power and influence of great storytelling, interactive and otherwise, and now want to be more than just a consumer. My biggest strength in this regard?
Almost every time, I'm fair all the time.
