Coming in the Fall of 2018, is a collaboration between Spectrevision, Elijah Wood’s film production company, and Ubisoft Montreal in the form of the psychological-horror game Transference. They are looking to blend traditional cinematography and video game story-telling.
The trailer above shows a boy attempting to navigate the horrors of a simulated experience built by his deranged father. The atmosphere was spooky in a way that recalled the terrifying P.T. that Konami released several years ago, so it might not be for the feint of heart.
It is primarily a VR experience, coming to Playstation VR, Oculus, and HTC Vive, but it will also be available on traditional consoles (PS4, Xbox One, and PC) later this year.
