Ubisoft’s extreme winter sports game Steep will receive its first major expansion later this year in conjunction with the 2018 Winter Olympic Games — Road to the Olympics.
The expansion will introduce two new regions for players to explore, South Korea and Japan, and will let them compete in several Olympic games, including: Downhill, Slopestyle, Halfpipe, Giant Slalom, Super G and Big Air. According to the announcement on Ubiblog, the expansion will also include challenges that let players choose a country to represent and test their skills against players from around the world.
Ubisoft hasn’t revealed the price yet, but Road to the Olympics will launch on Dec. 5 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
In our review of Steep, we said that “Steep reaches the great heights it endeavors to recreate.”
