If you want any proof that the next generation of gaming will be televised, or in this case broadcast, you don’t have to look much further than the announcements that Twitch has made today.  Teaming up with publisher Ubisoft, Twitch will be directly integrated into their TrackMania and ShootMania titles so that both can be easily live broadcast – a necessity for any eSport.  They also have announced that they’ve hit a few milestones…

  • 28 Million+ Unique Viewers
  • 600,000+ Unique Broadcasters
  • 1.5 Hours Watched Per Person Per Day
  • 3,500+ Member of the Twitch Partner Program

We have our own Twitch channel – you might recall our recent foray into the wince-worthy Aliens: Colonial Marines on there.   If you are a TrackMania or ShootMania  player, you have a chance to pick up a $400 dollar Amazon voucher – check out the video below to see how Twitch is integrated into those products, then start cranking out videos!
