DONTNOD Entertainment has been keeping busy, revealing yet another game in the works. With the highly anticipated Life is Strange 2, and the recent release of Vampyr, you’d think the hard-working studio would have its hands full. Clearly, DONTNOD wasn’t busy enough because Twin Mirror, another player-driven narrative adventure, is slated to hit stores in 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
An announcement trailer has popped up on the Playstation official Youtube channel as part of the first wave of games to be announced this E3 season. The Bandai Namco-published game is a more mature psychological thriller, with all the elements that you’ve come to expect from recent DONTNOD titles.
Players will take on the role of a heart-broken, 33-year old journalist returning to his hometown of Basswood, West Virginia. Waking up in his motel room, he is greeted by a bloody shirt and no recollection of the previous night. From that moment on, his life becomes engulfed in mysteries, leaving him with no choice but to set off on a thrilling adventure to uncover Basswood’s dark secrets.

A self-deprecating, overly sarcastic pair of glasses that occasionally possesses a human host in order to partake in the delightful process of playing video games, then immediately complaining about them. When he is not playing games (a rare occurrence), he can be found either writing about things that no one cares about, or haunting the quiet streets of his Canadian suburb.
