Maybe it’s just my inner ten year-old talking, but I find customizing my Transformer’s appearance and gear to be way more satisfying than deciding which of nine different automatic rifles my Call of Duty soldier will bring to the battlefield. Giant shape-shifting robots are just cool, and nothing causes enemies to underestimate the lethatlity of a plasma thrower quite like mounting it beside a gleaming hot-pink mercenary head.
