Bigby Wolf has spent a decade keeping a lid on things. A new story trailer for The Wolf Among Us Remastered finally lets the lid fly off, with the Sheriff of Fabletown showing his full werewolf form.
The trailer debuted during the ID@XBOX x IGN Showcase, ahead of the game's October 29 launch. The remaster arrives for $24.99, with launch discounts for new players and further discounts for owners of the original.

Try Episode 1 right now
You don't have to wait for launch. A free demo with the complete first episode, "Faith," is live as part of Steam Next Fest and runs through October 26. It's a good way to see how the modernized visuals hold up before you spend anything.

What's been rebuilt
Based on Bill Willingham's Fables comics, the game follows Bigby through a murder investigation in 1980s Manhattan that threatens to expose the fairytale community hiding there. The remaster brings:
- Enhanced environments
- Improved character fidelity
- Animation and audio upgrades
- A new Noir Mode that turns the thriller black and white
- Five fully playable Lost Scenes
- A 100+ image art gallery
- More than an hour of behind-the-scenes developer interviews

Telltale and PM Studios are pairing this with the 2027 return of Bigby in The Wolf Among Us 2, so this is the definitive way to catch up first.

A few more looks at the remaster, including Noir Mode.
