The Scientist Supreme comes to Marvel’s Avengers in new update

A new update for Marvel’s Avengers has been released today. This update adds a new villain sector into the game, featuring Monica Rappaccini, the Scientist Supreme. It appears the Scientist Supreme has taken control of the Cosmic Cube (the Tesseract or space stone for you MCU fans out there), and she is using it to help AIM do their typically evil things. Alongside this new villain sector comes the limited-time Cosmic Threat Event which will begin June 24 and run through July 8. During the event, players will engage in Cosmic Threat Event missions and complete Cosmic Damage challenges to earn a unique animated nameplate, gear, and other valuable rewards as they stop AIM from using the Cosmic Cube.

This Cosmic Cube content continues the storyline from February’s update, Operation: Hawkeye – Future Imperfect, and it will set the stage for upcoming releases including the Black Panther-focused expansion coming this August.

Marvel’s Avengers is currently available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Stadia.
