The Deluxe Edition will include the game’s soundtrack composed by Austin Wintory as well as some other digital goodies. The Legendary Edition will have everything included in the Deluxe Edition with the addition of the ‘Shadow Walker’ Heroic Title, an exclusive legendary item, and a digital novel titled ‘Gift of Hadrborg.’ Players who pre-order the game on PC will get the also get the Dredge Ally Pack, earning in game content such as the Dredge Stoneguard Hero, unique Dredge Items, and more.

For gamers who have never played the Banner Saga, have no fear—505 Games is releasing the entire trilogy in a Bonus Edition that will include the entire series priced at $39.99. For console gamers, the physical retail package, the Bonus Edition will include a mini art book, poster, best of soundtrack, and in-game digital item in addition to The Banner Sagas 1, 2, and 3. It will be available for purchase on July 24th in the US and July 27th in Europe.

We were first introduced to the Viking RPG in 2012 when the developers funded their passion project through Kickstarter, making almost seven times the initial goal. The first two games of the trilogy, The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2, both received 90s from us previously, as we highlighted our love of the impressive narrative and beautiful art design. We can’t wait to see what awaits in this final chapter!
