Sony Pulling Support of Vita YouTube and Map Apps

Sony has confirmed that it will be pulling support for certain Vita apps after planned updates for the handheld coming in March and April.

Starting in March, the Maps application will be disabled, and the near app will be losing some features as soon as users update the Vita’s firmware.

On April 20th, the Vita’s YouTube app will no longer be supported, while it has already been pulled from the PS Store as of today, January 28th.
YouTube videos and features will still be available through use of the system’s browser.
