Slap-stick figure RPG West of Loathing coming to Nintendo Switch this Spring

Today during Nintendo’s Nindies presentation for Spring 2018, Nintendo revealed that the comedy RPG West of Loathing will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in the next few months.

West of Loathing is a stick figure RPG set in a western world full of humor, whimsy, and storytelling of RPGs such as Quest for Glory and Paper Mario. The game features over 100 unique locations to explore in a sprawling open world included snake-infested gulches, and disgusting spittoons. Players can talk their way out of trouble as Snake Oiler, play as the wise Beanslinger, or wallop your way through trouble as Cow Puncher. In addition to hilarious hijinks and crazy characters, there are over 50 hats to collect.

West of Loathing was released on Windows, Mac, and Linux back in August of 2017 and will be released on Nintendo Switch this Spring. It is currently up for the Independent Game Festival’s grand prize tonight. For more information on this title, visit the official Nintendo website.
