Awesome Industries has announced that the release of Drift Zone for the PlayStation 4 today. Previously released on PC, Xbox One, and mobile devices, the racing title balances simulation and arcade mechanics as players can customize their rides to their liking.
From a press release provided by Community Villa:
Do you remember how fun the old Need for Speed – Most Wanted was because of the car pimping options? You got it back! Drift Zone is balancing between the fine line of arcade and simulation and offers tonnsss of customization on top of it.
Drift Zone was originally a mobile game, created by two friends from Poland, and after the guys have a huge success – more than 6.000.000 downloads!!! – they decided to go on PC and consoles as well. Drift Zone is already available on Steam and Xbox One, but they recreated the whole game for PS4 so now you can have it too!
As I said earlier, the game is balancing between simulation and arcade, however, the drifting and the physics are heavily worked out. It is really really smooth and it just simply feels good to drift with supercars we modified in ways we haven’t imagined at the beginning. The only downer is that the game doesn’t have online multiplayer features, but it makes up for it with an awesome single player mode.
