The Sims 4, formerly set for March 2014, has now officially been rescheduled to be released in Fall 2014. No special reasons for the delay were given by EA.
The newest installment in the long running hit series is said by the developer to feature powerful new tools, enhanced AI and an overall more immersive experience than was the case with the game’s predecessors. Rachel Franklin, VP, and General Manager of The Sims Studio, had following to say:
“The Sims franchise has the best fans in the world and their passion and enthusiasm is at an all-time high. Those millions of voices will fuel our development process, helping The Sims 4 to be the most ambitious and the best game our studio has ever made. We can’t wait to see our fans reaction when The Sims 4 comes out in autumn 2014.”
Get ready for another DLC-fest, everybody.
