We already saw a tweet that had us intrigued at the return of the guitar controller, but this is even better than we could have imagined. Revealed in a collaboration with IGN, PDP showed off the Riffmaster, a rechargable, wireless guitar controller. Price and release details are still unclear, but this is a fantastic addition to the PDP lineup.
The PDP Riffmaster wireless guitar will be available on PlayStation and Xbox platforms. There will be two separate guitars, but they are cross-platform compatible (PS4 and PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles). Spring is the target for release. These are planned to launch across retail platforms, so one would assume you could walk into a GameStop for instance and buy one.
