PAYDAY: Aces High pulls its VR heist onto Quest, SteamVR and Steam Frame November 5

Ever wanted to stand in a bank vault with your hands full of cash and your heart in your throat, then realize the guards just walked in? PAYDAY: Aces High is built for exactly that moment, and it's finally got a date.

Fast Travel Games' officially licensed VR co-op heist game, set in Starbreeze Entertainment's PAYDAY universe, launches November 5 on Meta Quest, SteamVR and Steam Frame for $24.99.

Framed, and out for revenge

The setup: business titan Warren Jupiter frames you, so you and your crew become The Aces and take your revenge the only way PAYDAY knows how, with a heist that goes sideways in the loudest possible way.

You can roll out with up to three partners in crime. Plan the job, stack your tools, and choose when to stay quiet or go loud on the way to a flawless payday.

Pick your Ace

There are four Aces to choose from, each with a job to do:

Ace of Hearts (The Mastermind): lines up every angle, every fallback, every escape.
Ace of Clubs (The Ghost): silent, surgical, gone before anyone knows they've been fooled.
Ace of Diamonds (The Technician): gadget freak, orchestrating the theater of destruction.
Ace of Spades (The Enforcer): the hammer that keeps hitting when things get loud.

The arsenal grows as you play. You'll gear up with ARs, SMGs, shotguns and pistols, plus gadgets like grapples and sentry guns, and spend your cash and rep to unlock new skills and gear.

One last playtest

If you want to try before you buy, the final playtest runs through October 26 on Steam and Meta Quest, and a Steam demo is available as part of Steam Next Fest. Anyone who joins gets an exclusive in-game Kitty Mask when the full game launches on November 5.
