NVIDIA was busy today announcing a new gaming bundle featuring Bethesda’s upcoming title, Redfall. The Redfall Bite Back Edition GeForce RTX 40 Series Bundle is heading for release and will run for a limited time. Additionally, NVIDIA also spoke about new info about the NVIDIA DLSS 3 which is their AI-powered Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) technology. All the techno details from today’s announcement are below:
NVIDIA DLSS 3 Accelerates the Neural Graphics PC Gaming Revolution
Since its launch in 2018, NVIDIA DLSS has helped drive a neural graphics revolution in PC gaming. Neural graphics intertwines AI and graphics to create an accelerated graphics rendering pipeline that learns from data. DLSS uses AI and GeForce RTX™ Tensor Cores to boost frame rates while delivering crisp, high-quality images that rival native resolution.
An assortment of blockbuster games and franchises are newly supporting DLSS 3, the technology is being integrated into one of the world’s most popular game engines, Unreal Engine 5.2, and the company is publicly releasing the DLSS Frame Generation plug-in to further ease developer adoption of the technology.
The DLSS PC gaming roster for GDC 23 includes the addition of NVIDIA DLSS to Deceive Inc., Diablo IV, Forza Horizon 5, Gripper, Redfall, SMALLAND: Survive the Wilds, and THE FINALS.
To date over 270 games and applications are already supporting NVIDIA DLSS, the AI-powered performance accelerator. DLSS Frame Generation, the latest version of the technology, is available in 28 released games and has been adopted 7X faster than DLSS 2 in the first 6 months
