Developer Cold Symmetry and publisher Playstack have flipped the switch on Mortal Shell II: Devout Edition, which is playable worldwide right now through Advanced Access. The full launch is still a few days away, launching on August 20, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam.
The Devout Edition is the digital deluxe version of the game, and it comes with a set of eight Obsidian Shell skins on top of the base game. Fans who pre-purchased it can jump in immediately, and the edition is still up for grabs for anyone who decides today's the day they want to start swinging. On top of that, the Mortal Shell II open beta pulled in more than 1,000,000 downloads across Steam and consoles!
