Link Wields a Ball and Chain in Hyrule Warriors

A new trailer has been released for Hyrule Warriors, but instead of showcasing a character, it’s showcasing a new weapon for Link.

Similar to Zelda’s ability to use the Wind Waker, Link will be able to wield the Power Gloves to fight with a massive ball and chain. This weapon set originates from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

Earlier today, three new characters were revealed as playable in Hyrule Warriors, including Sheik, Darunia and Ruto. These characters joined Twilight Princess’ Agitha and series newcomer Lana in the game’s roster.

Hyrule Warriors is slated for release exclusively for Wii U on September 19th in Europe and September 26th in North America.
