Korean mobile game company Actionfit to Participate in 2024 PlayX4 B2B

Game Publisher Actionfit, known for their puzzle, causal, and idle RPG games such as Box Cat Jam: Block Match and Cat Cafe Merge will be attending PlayX4. For more information regarding Actionfit’s past successes and future plans, read below:

Actionfit (CEO: Park In-hoo) has announced its participation in the “2024 PlayX4 B2B” event, scheduled to take place from May 23rd (Thursday) to 26th (Sunday) at KINTEX in Ilsan.

Actionfit is a Korean mobile game company specializing in global service. In 2023, they developed three puzzle games and aimed to create around 30 more in 2024. They primarily focus on UA marketing through global network channels and optimizing advertising and in-app revenue. With a foundation in international publishing, they have extensive experience in marketing, including performance advertising channel understanding, ad revenue consultation, ASO, and more, as explained by company officials.

They have achieved notable successes, including winning the Top Exporter of the Million Dollar Club from the Korea Trade Association in December 2022, establishing a research department and receiving venture certification in March 2023, attracting investments totaling 1,599,954,000 won from three sources in November 2023, and winning the Top Exporter of the $3 million club from the Korea Trade Association in December 2023.

Actionfit stated, “We assumed that our games would be competitive when various market data, planning, and creativity were combined. In terms of genre, our games belong to Western-style games. Still, we created games with familiar and potentially successful art and story elements for the East Asian market, especially Japan. We have achieved our goals, but aggressive marketing is necessary.”

They further explained, “2024 is crucial for Actionfit to establish itself as a global mobile game developer. To achieve this goal, we decided to participate in this exhibition to meet various domestic and international partners and users.”

Actionfit has received initial investment from Korean venture capital and is considering European game companies and investors as potential candidates for second-round funding. They are open to diverse collaboration opportunities to leverage marketing, game publishing, and development strengths. Collaboration could involve simplifying the sale or publishing of Actionfit’s or domestic partners’ games.

Actionfit has already attended events such as Gamescom, ChinaJoy, Tokyo Game Show, and G-Star, where it met numerous European companies and engaged in various business discussions. It also has experience co-hosting seminars with famous European game consultants and YouTubers.

The ‘2024 PlayX4 B2B,’ hosted by Gyeonggi Content Agency and KINTEX, is themed ‘More Than Just the Joy of Gaming’ and features exhibitions and experiences of new games from Korean and international game companies. Visitors can enjoy side programs like the retro game market, esports competitions, and cosplay events.
