Jurassic World Evolution park builder announced

Frontier Developments has announced their newest creation, and, not to brag (I totally am), I predicted it three weeks ago when I took a look at their most recent update for Planet Coaster.

It takes absolutely no imagination whatsoever to imagine animatronic dinosaurs DLC for a Jurassic Park pack, animatronic shark attacks for Jaws, and much more. If this first foray into paid DLC is any indication of the future, Planet Coaster is growing in an amazing direction.

Well, I’m getting my wish, as are all of you if you are a Jurassic Park fan. The new game, Jurassic World Evolution, is based on the film franchise by the same name, and looks to capitalize on the incredible builder technology they’ve perfected with Planet Coaster.

Jurassic World Evolution evolves players’ relationship with the Jurassic World film franchise, placing them in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities. Every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when ‘life finds a way.’

The game is scheduled to release next summer and through pure coincidence, I’m sure, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be in theatres June 2018. Kismet!
