Today, Excalibur Games announced that its simulation title Willowbrooke Post will be released onto Steam Early Access on March 14. The game will allow you to customize a post office while getting to know the characters of the village of Willowbrooke.
Narrated by the player character’s mother, the new trailer introduces players to the game’s story. Brand new gameplay footage is featured, showcasing character personalisation, cooking, and a look at the decision-making and dialogue choices players will be presented with whilst running their post office.
As announced previously, the game tasks players with the day to day running of the post office, including sorting packages for delivery, parcel wrapping, stamping letters, typing out emails, writing letters, and managing your ledgers – all while getting to know the villages of Willowbrooke.
About the game itself:
Your parents leave unexpectedly, entrusting you with their beloved post office. With only a handful of coins and guidance from a family friend, you’ll need to manage finances, serve the community and protect the family reputation, until they return.
The post office is a social hub for the village, and you’ll become a key part of the colourful community – one where each action could impact your relationship with the residents.
