Epic Games announced this week at E3 that Fortnite, which will be released on July 25 for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, will be getting some exclusive content for PS4 owners.
In Fortnite, an event known as “The Storm” makes 98 percent of the population vanish mysteriously, with a surprising appearance of monsters following the occurrence. You control the world’s remaining heroes as they fight back to rescue survivors. The procedurally generated action co-op multiplayer game boasts that no two games are alike as players work together to stop the threat of monsters from overwhelming the land.
While the game will be released as paid Early Access on July 25, Epic Games announced that PlayStation 4 players who purchase one of the Founder’s Packs for Fortnite will receive bonus hero cards, which sport unique color schemes for heroes which only PlayStation owners can purchase.
Fortnite will be available on July 25 for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Check out the trailer above, and stay tuned for more E3 news here on Gaming Trend.
