Today, the highly anticipated Dead As Disco, a rhythm character action game, entered Early Access on Steam and Epic Games. Developed by Brain Jar Games, players fight through a neon-drenched world where combat doubles as performance. Each encounter plays out like a choreographed music video, with everything reacting to the soundtrack.
Early Access includes the first arc of the campaign along with challenges, fashion, and a soundtrack with over 30 songs. Face off against 4 out of 7 Idols including: Hemlock, a traitorous former punk rocker; Arora, an AI pop Idol based on your definitely not stolen personal data; Dex, a cybernetically enhanced guitar god hardwired into Harmony's grid; and Prophet, a rapper who's launched as many careers as he's buried.

Each Idol has a unique boss ability and skill tree with tons to unlock. You can also customize your look with skins, accessories, and animations as you compete with friends and the world for the top spot on the leaderboard. For a chiller experience, you can help restore The Encore music club, collecting unique memorobilia to learn the truth behind Charlie Disco's death and return to the stage. If that's not enough for you, you can provide your own backing tracks with the My Music mode just like the demo.
Dead As Disco is available now in Early Access for a special launch price of $19.99. After two weeks, it'll go up to the normal price of $24.99. For more on Dead As Disco, stay tuned to GamingTrend.
