Embark just dropped update 1.42 for ARC Raiders, bringing Phantom Targets: Project Part 2 of six, as well as the Phantom Targets Player Event, both of which bring various rewards. Today, Embark Studios launched the 1.42 Live Update for the extraction adventure, ARC Raiders. The update marks the start of the ‘Phantom Targets’ Live Event and the second part of the Player Project, which runs through September 7.
Highlights of the 1.42 update include:
* Phantom Targets: Project Part 2: Starting today, Raiders can begin Part 2 of the six-stage ‘Phantom Targets’ Project. Raiders completing all 6 steps can expect rewards, including weapons, gear, blueprints and other gameplay items, Raider Tokens and a Computer Mouse Backpack Charm at completion.
* Phantom Targets: Player Event: Also starting today through September 7, players can take part in the new ‘Phantom Targets’ event, where they will be able to unlock rewards, including the Anomalia set, plus other cosmetics, gameplay items and Raider Tokens, through earning Merits.
* Tick Hunter Set Available Now: The Tick Hunter Set is now live on all platforms. The set retails at $20 and contains the Tick Hunter Outfit in 4 color variants, as well as a backpack, backpack charm, face tattoo and 2,400 Raider Tokens.
* Regional Map Scheduling: Beginning today, Map Condition schedules will reflect peak play times for each region, increasing the variety of map conditions available at those times, and making it easier to plan raiding with friends in advance.
* Embark Summer Celebration: Embark’s celebration of summer across worlds with both ARC Raiders and THE FINALS is ending soon. Through August 20, players who log 3 hours in ARC Raiders will earn the Azimuth Bundle in THE FINALS.
