After a launch riddled with issues, the PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub has been postponed “until further notice.”
News of this comes from Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, who confirmed as such on Driveclub’s official Facebook page.
”Until we can ensure that everyone can enjoy the full social connected online experience, we will be postponing the release of the PS Plus Edition until further notice.”
The PlayStation Plus edition of Driveclub was delayed upon the game’s proper release in order to help with server issues the game was experiencing. While developer Evolution Studios has been rolling out updates in order to help alleviate the issue, even saying that the game should be working for the majority of players. However, it doesn’t appear to be at a state that the game’s servers can handle at this point. Evolution is considering compensating users for the trouble.
