Dice Throne is one of the best hero-battling games in the tabletop world. Now it has come to the digital world with a new campaign mode too:
Following years of community-driven tabletop success, Dice Throne is officially going digital with Dice Throne Digital, and fans are invited to help shape it. Dice Throne and Nerd Ninjas have launched a $100,000 Kickstarter campaign to help bring the fast, fun and approachable dice-and-card combat game to Steam, mobile, and Meta Quest (Mixed Reality) with full cross-platform functionality.
Through May 4, backers can secure their place in the "Digital Arena," gaining exclusive Alpha and Beta access to play early, provide feedback on key decisions, engage directly with the development team and more. This partnership ensures that the community remains a core pillar as the game heads toward a release on Steam and mobile in February 2027, followed by a Meta Quest debut in May 2027.
To fuel this collaboration, the campaign offers a variety of pledge tiers designed for both veterans and newcomers. Rewards include Founder credits and private Discord access for direct communication with the developers. The campaign also debuts an all-new “Strongbox Starter Set.” Available as an add-on, the set offers newcomers a perfect physical entry point with four iconic Heroes ready for immediate battle. As funding milestones are reached, community-driven stretch goals will unlock new game modes, arenas, exclusive Hero skins and expanded beta streaming access. Kickstarter rewards include:
- Gold Founder: Includes Beta access to Dice Throne Digital, entry to a private Discord channel with the developers, recognition in the credits as a “Gold Founder,” all eight launch heroes and every unlocked funding quest.
- Diamond Founder: Alpha 2 access to Dice Throne Digital, entry to a private Discord channel with the developers, recognition in the credits as a “Diamond Founder,” all eight launch heroes and every unlocked funding quest.
- Ultimanium Founder: Alpha 1 access to Dice Throne Digital, entry to a private Discord channel with the developers, recognition in the credits as a “Ultimanium Founder,” all eight launch heroes and every unlocked funding quest.

Become Your Hero Like Never Before - Eight Iconic Heroes, Multiple Ways to Play
Dice Throne Digital will launch with the original roster of eight iconic Heroes: Barbarian, Monk, Moon Elf, Ninja, Paladin, Pyromancer, Shadow Thief, and Treant. Each features unique dice, abilities and gameplay strategies ranging from aggressive offense to tactical defense.
Players can experience the game through Classic mode, a faithful recreation of the one-on-one battles fans love, or explore the new narrative-driven, roguelite Campaign mode. Inspired by Dice Throne Adventures, each Campaign presents branching paths, challenging enemies, and unique upgrades. Completing runs unlocks rewards and cosmetics to show off in Classic mode battles, while leveled-up Heroes can be taken into head-to-head combat in Unlimited mode. Additional modes and systems will unlock as stretch goals are reached throughout the campaign.
