Crazy Rayman Origins Screens!

To go along with our hands-on coverage of Rayman Origins, we have a dozen new screenshots from the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii version of the game.  The Xbox 360 and PS3 shots ring in at 1080p, and the Wii shots are 480p – I note this as graphically they are nearly identical! They do a great job of showing off the impressive art direction that Ancell and his team have taken with the title.  While you check out my hands-on preview, here is a nibble about the backstory:

Michel Ancel, celebrated creator of Rayman®, Beyond Good & Evil® and the Raving Rabbids® returns to his roots to bring us Rayman® Origins: an all new 4-player co-op comic adventure set in a lush, 2D world, teeming with unexpected secrets and outlandish enemies. When the Glade of Dreams is overrun by “nefurrious” Darktoons, the Fairy Council hastily invokes Rayman to save the day; but the hero of light isn’t quite all there…To help him, Rayman teams up with his best friend, Globox, and two crafty wizards, the Teensies. Together, the world’s most hilarious team of heroes will need to restore peace to the Glade or watch as their beloved home vanishes like a bad dream…

Challenging, cute, and literally laugh-out-loud funny, Rayman is set to hit the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii on 11/15/11!  Look for our full review before the title hits shelves.
