Good news, hunters! Following the PlayStation Network outage that occurred during the first weekend of the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test 2, Capcom announced the extension of the beta’s second session by 24 hours across all platforms, including PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox Series X|S.
Open Beta Test 2 New Hours:
Thursday, February 13 at 7pm PST to  Monday, February 17 at 6:59pm PST
During the extended period, players will still be able to unlock the participation bonuses that will become available in the full version of the game.
As a reminder, like the original beta, Open Beta Test 2 includes a character creator with data that can be transferred into the full game, a story mission, and free-roaming hunts with cross-platform multiplayer. Open Beta Test 2 also contains additional content, including new hunts with Gypceros and the game’s flagship monster, Arkveld! The Training Area and online features like Private Lobbies and Online Single Player mode are also included in Open Beta Test 2.
Please note the beta build does NOT contain the recently announced performance and balance adjustments, as the dev team is focused on implementing these improvements into the full game.
