Bulletstorm VR kicks it’s way into the Meta Quest lineup

We don’t have a ton of information, but really, what do you need to know about Bulletstorm that you don’t already? A nice surprise at the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase, Bulletstorm is coming to the headset, in VR form. I’ve always enjoyed the over-the-top antics of Grayson Hunt and co, so it’ll be neat to experience all of the gore as immersively as you can. Bulletstorm seems to be trying to take the “port king” crown away from Skyrim, and I’m cool playing Bulletstorm literally everywhere.

Back in 2011, Bulletstorm introduced the world to the “Skillshot.” Kick an enemy into a cactus? Skillshot. Crush one under a hot dog cart? Skillshot. Grab one with your Energy Leash and fling ‘em into a burner? Definitely a skill shot. Today, People Can Fly and Incuvo (developer of Green Hell VR) announced they’re bringing Bulletstorm to the Meta Quest Store. Skillshots new and old, as well as the action-packed story—all of it recreated from the ground up to take advantage of VR.

Book your ticket to the planet Stygia and get ready to mow down hordes of mutated enemies later this year—but not in the boring ol’ “pump ‘em full of bullets” way. It’s Bulletstorm! In VR! Get creative with those kills!
