Indie publisher Digerati today announced that developer Fantastico Studio’s side-scrolling roguelite shoot ’em up, Black Paradox, will be leaving Steam early Access and will be fully released the beginning of May. It mixes the chaos of a bullet-hell shoot ’em up with the unpredictability of a roguelike title with intense boss fights and a variety of enemies, weapons, and upgrades in an 80s-styled aesthetic.
Black Paradox is a fast-paced roguelite shoot ’em up. Unleash an arsenal of weapons, power-ups, drones, and other upgrades to survive waves of enemies, against a backdrop of vibrant pixel art and synth-wave soundtrack. As the infamous bounty hunter Black Paradox, travel through space and defeat the most dangerous criminal organization in the galaxy: the Hellraisers and its seven lieutenants.
Black Paradox will feature 20 wepaons, 37 powerups, 13 deadly drones, 8 power-up combos, the ultimate space-bending move, “Black Paradox,” 62 different enemies, 14 bosses and a secret boss, upgradable stats, 2 player local co-op, and an unlockable boss rush mode.
Black Paradox will leave Steam Early Access and will be officially released on April 30th for PlayStation 4, on May 2nd for PC via Steam, and on May 3rd for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. FOr more information, visit the Steam page.
