The next entry in the Dishonored franchise isn’t DLC — it’s a standalone title, developer Arkane announced during Bethesda’s E3 press conference Sunday night.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider lets you play as Billie Lurk, who fans will remember from 2016’s Dishonored 2. Billie must team up with her old mentor Daud to assassinate the Outsider — a god-like being credited for unspeakable horrors.
The game returns players to Dishonored 2’s coastal city Karnaca and pits them against enemies both familiar and new, such as the immortal Envisioned.
It’s unclear what, if any, new abilities Billie brings to the table, although in the trailer, she’s seen using a power that lets her blink through a wall.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider launches on Sept. 15. Arkane hasn’t revealed a price yet.
