Battlerite Royale moves out of Steam Early Access and into free-to-play on February 19th

The MOBA-Battle Royale mash-up Battlerite Royale will be moving out of Steam Early Access with a free-to-player commercial launch next month. To celebrate the launch, Stunlock Studios will be delivering a large Battlerite Royale content update along with an update to the original Battlerite game.

“Upon our community request to release the game as soon as possible, we are pumped to announce that Battlerite Royale’s free-to-play launch now has a confirmed date,” said Peter Ilves, Game Director at Stunlock Studios. “Thank you to everyone who has been participating in the beta and giving us your feedback. We are now super excited to deliver the complete experience – a MOBA Royale – free for everyone to play. The game launches together with a massive update including several surprises to look forward to.”

Battlerite Royale is a Battle Royale game based on the MOBA, Battlerite. Combat is done from a top-down perspective with a wide variety of champions to pick from with their own unique skills and playstyles. Currently, it costs $19.99, but the game will go free-to-play when it is commercially released on February 19th, 2019. For more information, visit the official Steam page.
