ARC Raiders update 1.29 is live

Embark have dropped ARC Raiders update 1.29, bringing a new Nomadic Envoy for raiders level 25+, a new weapon called Rascal, a new cosmetic set called the Sandveil set, and an improvement to the Extended Barrel's ranged effectiveness. For the full details, read the information below:

Today, Embark Studios launched the 1.29 live update for the extraction adventure, ARC Raiders. The update introduces a brand-new progression system, Nomadic Envoys, alongside a hard-hitting new weapon, mod enhancement and new cosmetics.

Highlights of the 1.29 live update include:

- Nomadic Envoys: A New Way to Trade - Ermal, a new Nomadic Envoy, has arrived in Speranza. Raiders (level 25+) can now visit the Trader Screen to exchange rare weapons and high-value ARC parts for a range of valuable rewards, including cosmetics, blueprints, Raider Tokens and more. Ermal also has special time-limited weekly offers available, and will make requests for specific items. Additionally, Ermal offers upgraded stash space and a new Expedition Vault, which enables Raiders to safely store up to five of their most prized items for retrieval after an expedition.

- New Weapon: Rascal - A lightweight alternative to the Hullcracker, the Rascal packs a significant punch, though Raiders will need to master its quirks.

- Mod Improvement: Extended Barrel - The Extended Barrel has been improved to lean further into its longer range effectiveness, alongside two additional variants.

- New Cosmetic: The Sandveil Set - A new Sandveil set has entered the store rotation, featuring three variants in grey white, black silver and green gold, as well as the Adventurer Backpack, Tribal Tattoo Red and a new Sideburns facial hair option.
