To commemorate the newly released The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs expansion pack, EA and Maxis have announced a partnership with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, funding a donation drive with different challenges every week until December 10.
As the community of animal lovers joins together in these weekly challenges, EA and Maxis will donate $20,000 to the SPCA for animals in need.
Challenge 1 – November 13-19
To kick off the Sims 4 Pets Campaign, players can visit the Gallery to see Ruby the dog from The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs in a few different fashionable looks. Log in and vote for your favorite look in the Gallery, or upload your own Ruby fashions and tag your creation with #RubyRocksSims4Paws.Challenge 2 – November 20-26
Recreate your real-life cat or dog (or dream cat or dog) in The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs using the Create-A-Pet tool. Once completed, upload your furry creation to the Gallery using the hashtags #Sims4Paws and #MyPet and share your masterpiece with the Sims’ community. Your pets will then be featured on the web hub for the community to like and download for their own Sims homes!Challenge 3 – November 27 – December 3
The SimGurus are creating a fun collection of cats and dogs to put them up for virtual adoption in the Gallery. Choose your favorite cat and/or dog to add to your Sims’ households! Then, upload your own pets to the Gallery using the hashtag #VirtualAdoption for others to adopt and download, and share on social using #Sims4Paws.Challenge 4 – December 4-10
To celebrate the final week of challenges, players are invited to use the Create-A-Pet tool to create a cat or dog that represents their hometown, school, community pride with local colors. Upload your creation using the hashtag #Represent and check out other Simmers’ mascots in the Gallery.
