12 Is Better Than 6, hand-drawn top-down shooter with stealth elements, now available on Nintendo Switch

Black, white, and red all over, Ink Stains Games and HypeTrain Digital’s western themed top-down shooter, 12 Is Better Than 6, is now available on Nintendo Switch. It was originally released in 2015 on Steam and has sold 40,000 copies since.

12 Is Better Than 6 is a hand-drawn pen-and-ink shooter with stealth elements, taking place in the Wild West. The main character was wrongfully incarcerated, and he’s now trying to escape at all cost so that he can get his revenge. Live through the journey of an escaped Mexican prisoner fighting for survival and freedom in the 1870s in the United States. Above all, it’s a story about people, their lives, and how these people tried to forge their own little heaven in a violent, yet hopeful, New World.

The game’s title is derived from the phrase, “it’s better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6,” meaning that they would rather be judged by 12 jurors for murder than die and be in a casket carried by 6 people. 12 Is Better Than 6 will feature unique shooting mechanics where you will have to cock the revolver with one trigger before firing with the other, the free reign to play guns blazing or stealthily, real-life places and towns, authentic weapons, upgrades, and allies.

12 Is Better Than 6 is available now on Nintendo Switch for $9.99. For more information, visit the official website.
