Sometimes you have to see something to believe it. The size and heft of the Gloomhaven box, for example. Chip Theory Games has their game Too Many Bones, but they don’t use a traditional sales model. To purchase their games, you either have to go to their website or buy it at a convention. However, you might be skeptical due to the high price and limited distribution. I know that I definitely was, which is why I wanted to find out more at Origins. I was fortunate enough to talk to Adam Carlson, one of the co-designers of Too Many Bones, to find out more about the game and see the quality of their components.
