We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week!
We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Titan Manga!
At the end, we have new review by Tim Jenkins on Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1! Keep an eye out for a preview of the comics we're covering this week!

Avatar: The Last Airbender-The Kyoshi Warriors - Issue #2
One of their first adventures off their safety Island, The Kyoshi Warriors struggle to find their footing in the Earth Kingdom Army. Consistent threats of death to them and the army as a whole has Suki learning on the spot how to balance her sworn duty and her duty to the Kingdom.
The art style fits perfectly with Avatar: The Last Airbender and brings Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors back for another adventure that happened during the time of the show.
Can Suki step up and become the leader the Kyoshi Warriors need her to be? Can she learn to always do what's best for the people even if it's not "best for the Kingdom?" We'll have to wait and see!

Spectacular Spider-Man: Brand New Day - Issue #2
I'm not really sure it's ever going to get any easier for Peter Parker. Between fighting villain after villain, losing his friends, losing his jobs, and now having to go between being Spider-Man and a day job... You can do it, Peter!
If you're a fan of the comics, movies, games, shows; there are references you'll understand and then some! Mr. Negative has taken over The Punisher and it's up to Spider-Man to put an end to it with or without police help! Things, like most things involving The Punisher, get violent--which provides a wonderfully action-packed issue!

Somali and the Forest Spirit - Vol. 5
As we get further into our adventure with Somali and her "Dad," the sadder the realities of the situation becomes for everyone involved. As Somali gets more and more attached to the Golem, Golem knows his days are numbered. This volume is full of even more twists and turns that left me shocked by the end.
This series is, currently, on my list of favorite Manga due to it's wildly detailed art, adorable characters, and interesting world-building. I cannot wait for the next volume, that cliff hanger has me ready more than ever!

Spider-Man: Long Way Home - Issue #1 review
Reading like an 80’s action movie, Spider-Man: Long Way Home #1 is a fun read. Presenting us with versions of familiar Marvel characters that are just slightly different from what we’re familiar with, the issue kicks off a story that promises plenty of action and excitement ahead.
