PAX South – Bill and Ted’s Excellent Board Game demo

If you are a child of the 80’s like me, you can probably quote the movie Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure in your sleep.  Featuring a very young (and less sad) Keanu Reeves, and the ever-funny George Carlin, the movie was, and continues to be, a cult classic.  On our visit to Steve Jackson’s booth at PAX South we got a real treat — an early prototype of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Board Game.  The game is exactly what you might imagine — you take your time-travelling phone booth (if you are a kid, go ask your mom and dad what a “phone booth” was) to pick up “historical dudes” while avoiding “evil dudes” to deliver the best possible History Report, enabling Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan to become Wyld Stallions!  Excellent!
