SMG Studio announced today that it has dated the release for the Switch version of cooperative puzzler Death Squared. The game will be released onto the Nintendo Switch on July 13. Currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, the Switch version will have some exclusive content not seen in previous releases.
“Death Squared was created with groups in mind, so coming to the Switch made perfect sense,” said Patrick Cook, lead designer, SMG Studio. “We look forward to friends and families being able to share the experience wherever and however they want when it comes out July 13.”
In Death Squared, up to four players will escort a crew of cuboid companions through murderous mazes and puzzles. Through teamwork and coordination, the game introduces new rules and mechanics based upon this co-op experience. If even one player dies, everyone must restart. In addition to a campaign with 80 story levels and 40 party stages, the Nintendo Switch version of the game will have all-new puzzles that have not been released at the original launch.
Death Squared will be available on the Nintendo Switch July 13. Check out the cute gallery of pictures above, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
