So ever since the update whenever I start up the game, it automatically starts the sp campaign. Which is annoying because it has to load a long cutscene. Is this happening to any one else?

Yeah this happened to me yesterday

Took awhile to get an online game going as well,it said 22000 were online, which i think is the lowest i have seen those numbers be

Yeah i know the new Captain America film has yet to be released, but Marvel have already started with Captain America 3,outlining and even getting Captain America 2 directors back

Quote
The Russo brothers are putting the finishing touches to Captain America: The Winter Soldier at the moment, and for the first time since Jon Favreau was hired for Iron Man 2, they'll be back for the follow-up. That's some vote of confidence.

Chris Evans will, of course, be back in the title role as well.

There's no release date as of yet, but we'd suspect that 2016 or 2017 is likely.

PS+ NOT needed for ESO,however Xbox Live Gold IS needed to play it
Gamespot

It says in the link that Bethesda are pushing Microsoft to not need XBLG for the game.....Final Fantasy 11 did not need XBLG(and maybe Phantasy Star Online as well),and i don't think MS was all that happy about it actually,as IIRC they did not let FF14 come to the xbox because of this little argument

I will have both XBLG and PS+ anyway, but it would be nice for MS to let their guard down a little when it concerns XBLG,the more players for it the better seen as though Xb1 and PS4 Players will be playing on their own separately

More good news concerning Backwards Compatibility for PS1/PS2 games for the PS4

Eurogamer

Quote
Backwards compatibility is coming to PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Now is only part of the story. A well-placed source working with Sony's streaming service reveals that only PlayStation 3 titles are currently scheduled to use the "gameplay over IP" cloud service. PS1 and PS2 titles are set to follow the more conventional route of running locally under emulation on Sony's latest console - but with the possibility of HD visual enhancements.

Quote
Our information suggests that the same internal emulator strategy is planned for PlayStation 4, and we understand that Sony is actively pursuing the ability for older titles to run without the blurry upscaling seen on PS3, suggesting that native HD resolutions are being targeted.

I was with SWG for awhile, but i came late to the game, very late and my PC was dire shit to run the game properly

I loved the exploration of the game,i trecked over Tatooine with my Speeder, couldn't get into Jabba's Palace but visited Mos Espa and Mos Eisley,i went to Naboo to the Royal Palace i basically went to visit all the places from the movies

We all know Star Wars could make an amazing MMO,but its not really happened(not played SWTOR but heard very mixed things)

If it happened on PS4,i would certainly give it a chance...but yeah,EA have the license now since Disney took over,so it probably isn't a SW MMO...but i still hope it can happen some day

If SWTOR came to PS4 i would give that a go(again though..EA)

Iím not using this word in a pejorative sense, but is the game linear?

AH: Itís a single-player experience thatís very much about the story, but at the same time itís very much about player choice. So what you didnít get today, today was straight forward in terms of the layout. In the wider game, weíre not really talking about it today, but thereís more opportunity to find alternative ways to manoeuvre and navigate around the world.

JM: Other paths to choose to solve problems.

Quote
So there will be combat, right? And puzzles?

AH: Weíre not making a shooter, but there is conflict.

JM: In terms of puzzles, there are things to solve like hacking games and a few other things that weíll be talking about later.

The Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection on the PS3

Last Night i finished Metal Gear Solid 2(finished Twin Snakes a week or two ago on the cube),everytime i finish MGS2 now which i have finished now about 6 times i can't get over just how great that game is,when i thought it was just 'okay' when it was first released, seems to be the game that keeps getting better each time i play it,I am guessing its down to the original disappointment of not playing as Snake for most of the game(and maybe understanding the ending a bit more after the later games Tongue)

Tonight i start what i consider Hideo Kojima's masterpiece

Metal Gear Solid 3..what a great game, really looking forward to playing it again

and getting through these games now is just the ticket in time for March 18th - Ground Zeroes(yeah, just around the corner!!)

Digital Foundry are finding it hard to see much difference in performance before and after the patch

Quote
In some scenes we actually see the pre-patched game put out slightly higher metrics, but this simply reflects variances in gameplay between our two test runs. Overall, it's hard to see where exactly the improvements in performance have been made, suggesting that the optimisations are rather more subtle than we were hoping for. In the first two to three levels at least, there are no obviously noticeable signs of the smoother experience promised by Capcom Vancouver, and a close look at the game's real-time cinematics reveals almost completely identical frame-rates in exact like-for-like scenes, where the rendering load is very closely duplicated on repeat playthroughs. Clearly, cinematics alone won't be engaging many of the game's sub-systems, but it does suggest that the core rendering engine hasn't seen any fundamental upgrades, as sudden drops in frame-rate occur at exactly the same moments.

Now, with our goal reached, it's time for stretch goals and we shall announce the first one tomorrow. Okay,i am calling it...this is already getting out of hand

Dead Rising 3 update =13gb

FWIW-this does not add 13 gig,it overwrites some of what you already have of the 25 gb game, and in the end it just adds around 1.5gb..but you still have to download the 13 gb for the update

Quote
Users have reported the update does not add 13GB to the total size of Dead Rising 3. Instead it overwrites previous data, leaving the total game size of Dead Rising 3 at around 25GB.

"For those worrying about HDD space, apparently 12GB of it re-writes original data so your only adding another 1.5GB of space. Hopefully it includes most of or all of the upcoming DLC, so its just a case of unlocking it," posted a user.
