This is my favorite game trilogy on the Citadel — Mass Effect Legendary Edition review

I don’t know how many times I’ve played all three Mass Effect games, but that number sailed past “a lot” a long, long time ago. I’ve seen every decision, I’ve hungrily devoured all 40+ DLC moments, and I’m so very ready to do it again.

A solid hit — Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 hands-on preview

I enjoyed Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts quite a bit, praising the simulated complexity of sniping, the expansion of the world into a sandbox open-ended approach, and overall level design in my review. When the team at CI Games offered me a chance to get behind the glass to check out

Reviews   -   May 26, 2021 Anthrophomorphic amalgamation adventure — Biomutant review

If you were to ask me what Biomutant is about, I would have a hard time pinning it down. At its core, it’s about a post-apocalyptic world where mutated creatures have inherited the Earth, formed tribes, and now war against one another. You are one of these creatures, aiming

Zeusy, I’m home! — Immortals Fenyx Rising: The Lost Gods DLC review

One of the things I appreciate most about Ubisoft is that they are willing to try new things. While you can clearly see the inspiration behind Immortals Fenyx Rising (our review), the game represents the team doing something outside of their comfort zone. Logic and platforming puzzles aren’t normally

“Tide me death, betide me life” — Chivalry II hands-on preview

It’s a rough deal, being born a peasant. Supposing you can survive the infant mortality rate of 25%, you somehow dodged the black death, you still have to deal with famine, food poisoning if you can get food, “doctors” who are as likely to kill you as heal you,

4K/60 Madness — The Sinking City on PlayStation 5

“It is absolutely necessary, for the peace and safety of mankind, that some of earth’s dark, dead corners and unplumbed depths be let alone; lest sleeping abnormalities wake to resurgent life, and blasphemously surviving nightmares squirm and splash out of their black lairs to newer and wider conquests.” ― H.

60fps 4K Suffering — The Nioh Collection

I don’t know if I’m a glutton for punishment, or if some part of me is into Souls-type games, but here we go again. I never played Nioh or its sequel, but when Koei Tecmo Games loves something enough to go back to give something the royal treatment,

Earning your place among the gods — Immortals Fenyx Rising: A New God DLC review

We absolutely loved Immortals Fenyx Rising (our review), so obviously we are excited for the roadmap of DLC ahead. The first of three planned expansions is entitled “Immortals Fenix Rising: A New God”, and takes place after the events of the main game. As such, this review will cover those
