A closer look at Unofficial Grand Theft Auto Cookbook: Sweet Eats and Luxe Treats

Over the last few weeks I've been taking a trip through the world of Grand Theft Auto, with the help of the folks at Insight Editions. Their Unofficial Grand Theft Auto Cookbook: Sweet Eats and Luxe Treats gave me a whirlwind tour of the GTA universe via my stomach. Tacos de Cochinita Pibil, The Lost and the Damned Burger, Ocean Beach Surf & Turf, and more all get the royal treatment (or should I say "Royale with Cheese"?) are just a few of the recipes we check out in this closer look at the team's latest cookbook.

My wife is a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, so she picked out our favorites, as well as offering up some suggestions of her own to improve on these recipes.

Whether it's well-marinated meats, or a trick with pickle brine to make chicken tenders softer, there are some great recipes in here. Big thanks to Insight Editions for the new food suggestions. More than just a collection of recipes — this cookbook is a celebration of the GTA universe told through our stomach.  If you're looking for a culinary tour yourself, you can pick it up for yourself right here.
